Meet One Of The Faces Behind CharVid Janitorial Services

I’m Charisse E. Cook, the proud owner of CharVid Janitorial Services. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

After working with ATT&T for years, in 2016, I found myself overqualified and suddenly out of work. I worked at part-time jobs that paid minimum and were incredibly frustrated with my situation. So on December 11, 2019, along with my husband, who happens to have over thirty years of janitorial and building maintenance experience, decided to establish CharVid Janitorial Services to serve and enhance businesses by creating a clean, safe, and worry-free environment for owners, employees, and their customers.

I got into the janitorial business because we anticipated rapid growth and wanted to help our clients. Initially, things were slow, and with just one contract, but over 2020 we have grown by around 200% and achieved one-eighty thousand dollars in sales for the 2021 year.

The part of the business that I find most enjoyable is getting jobs done with excellence. I believe complex jobs are easier because CharVid, as a whole, is effective and efficient as one. Our business is rooted in our faith. We go above and beyond the standard commercial cleaning scale, treating every building as if it is our home.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my commitment to honesty and fair practice. As a rule, we don’t take on a job unless we can complete it with excellence, and our prices are negotiable because cleanliness, health, and safety with peace of mind should not be compromised. We run our practice based on faith, and the relationships we build are based on genuine care for our client’s well-being.

I attribute my success to genuinely loving what I do and finding joy in serving others. The money we receive for our services, while essential and something we are thankful for, does not affect how we treat our clientele, and we provide the same loyalty and high-quality service to all.

I ensure our staff, customers, and all involved are on the same page and happy. Overcoming numerous obstacles and seeing things through to completion consistently has given me immense satisfaction over the years.

When I am not at work, I enjoy family time and shopping. I exercise regularly and am currently in school, studying a concentration in business fundamentals.
